Digital Peak is making extensions for the Joomla CMS. It offers DPCalendar - a calendar extension that supports CalDAV and which can be used with DAVx⁵.

DAVx⁵ settings

Base URL: https://<your-server-name>/components/com_dpcalendar/caldav.php/calendars/ Replace <your-server-name> with your domain and possibly a sub-directory.

User name: your username (doesn't necessarily need to be an email address) that you also use on Joomla
Password: your Joomla password
